Would anyone know how to build a pool ramp for large dogs?

The cheapest ramps I’ve found have been around $80. I need the ramp to be able to withstand at least 150 pounds. Would it be worth it to build my own, or would it be better to just go ahead and buy one?

You’d probably be better off buying one, because by the time you get materials and figure out how to build one that’s going to be strong enough but not corrode within a few months, you’d probably spend about that, anyway.
The last thing you want is to jury-rig something and have it break and hurt your dog.
I’d buy one, they are well built and probably cheaper than most people could build one..
Actually, we’ve made one – and frankly $80 is cheap. I would have bought one if I could have found it that cheap. Treated wood is not cheap.
