What Is The Funniest Thing Your Dog Does Or Has Done?
My basset hound spins around in circles really fast when she is being “defiant” or doesn’t want to do something. Like for some reason, she will not come down our basement stairs, so I’ll tell her to come down in a really serious voice and she spins in circles
That’s just one of the funny things she does, I could go on forever.

my springer spaniel sleeps with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. people think he is dead because he sleeps so hard and his tongue is all dried up from hanging out of his mouth so long.
I was outside getting stuff out of my car in the pouring down rain and my golden was pawing at the storm door because she wanted to come with me. She somehow managed to lock the storm door. Of course my other doors and windows were locked and you cannot unlock my storm door from the outside. My golden just sat there wagging her tail as I got drenched trying to get the door open. I finally ended up having to break the glass in the door to finally get in!
She also likes to get in the bathtub when it is thundering out. She is quite the character. I love her to pieces!
Okay while it may appear funny to you spinning in circles is usually a sign of stress. She isn’t being defiant she is experiencing anxiety.
One funny thing our dog does that isn’t stress related is she likes to lay like a baby in the bed. She lies in between my husband and I, flat on her back, head on the pillow, feet stretched out straight like a person and under the covers. She usually then puts her arms straight out over the top of the covers, with them tucked under her arm pits. She crawls into bed very carefully and positions herself like this. Her head goes way back on the pillow, she never sleeps curled up like a dog. She is certain she is human!
Also if my kids or husband tell her go see Mommy she immediatley goes looking for me. If we tell her go to your brothers she goes off to hang out with our sons and follows them everywhere they go like a tag along little sister!
I had a Basset, they are so funny!
I now have an English bulldog. When he is eating, if a piece of food goes behind his dish he tries like hell to get! He stands there with his back feet in the air!
My Basset, found a nest of baby rabbits and he collected them all an took them to our female Basset. I guess he wanted her to have some babies! It was cute watching him carry them one by one to the dog house………. His name was Bill. Her name was May-may.
You can see picture of my Max in my 360 page if you like!

We have 3 Boston Terriers one who is a bit big for a BT she sits on her butt with her back straight against the couch and her back legs out in front of her – we call her Buddha – she looks like a little Buddha when she does this!!

Also my oter dog wages his tale in a circle when he gets really excited
Well….years ago, I had 2 Afghan Hounds, & My Mom had 2 Schnauzers. The males sort of hug together, but my Afghan ***** & my mom’s Schnauzer ***** loved each other & played together.
The schnauzer knew where there was a candy dish, on a counter, which she couldn’t reach.
My mother thought it was awfully quiet, so decided to look for the bitches. She found them by the candy dish. The Afghan ***** had given a piece of candy to her friend, and taken a piece for herself. Otherwise, the candy dish was undisturbed.
One time I went shopping and my B/F didn’t put the toilet seat back down after using the bathroom, and my dachshund was trying to drink out the toilet and fell in. When we got home he was drowning in the toilet
my dog is a border collie lab and hunting dog mix, his name is sammy and the funniest things that he does r things like hurdling people (like literally using them as a hurdle) and he does summersaults
he exploded in the microwave. Man I miss him but he was funny.
We have a 7 year old Dalmatian. He’s a GREAT dog, very quiet and laid back. When he sleeps, he apparently has some very vivid dreams. He’ll whine, starting kicking his feet, and bark.
I know most dogs do this on occasion, but this is a daily thing for him. It’s too funny!
i used to have this pipe thing that blew bubbles and my pom always puts it in her mouth and chews on it (it was never used)
Once our Carran Terrier ate a whole bag of carmels, trash and all! After we found out he was fine, it was sooooooo funny!
In our kitchen, we have a water bubbler. Alot of times he comes into the kitchen to greet someone & he stands & wags his tail & just about knocks the bubbler over when the water level is low with his tail. He’s a BIG dog.
i was fixing a tv and i was squating and i fell over and ma dog Daisy grabbed my hair and tryed to pull me around
This is a great question!!
I have a pembroke welsh corgi and I take him for walks everyday. Sometimes he spends too much time sniffing around and not doing anything and depending on time I try to pull his leash to get him to come along but he’ll put his stompers on (i call his stompers when he heavily plants himself right where he is) and then start jumping from left to right like a child throwing a tantrum. It cracks me up every time!
I could also go on forever!!!
When I had a dog a long time ago, (a Lab/Goldren Retriever mix), he tackled my cousin to the floor, licked her face, and bit her hair!! OMG I WAS ROFL!! Too bad he died…
